“Learn it and Use it”- How I built my first Website
HTML provides the basic structure of sites, CSS is used to control presentation, formatting, and layout. In simple “The Style” , JavaScript is used to control the behavior of different elements. And this is all you need to learn to start setting up a basic website.
Is it possible to build a website within a month?
Answer is simply YES!! . And it can be done even quicker. But then the question pops up , can a month worth knowledge into computing lead to building a proper standard website?
Most folks might have different ideas and perspectives . But the field of computing is “The Safest place to be experimental” . And most importantly a world widely accepted way of learning is “Trial and Error”.
So What's the Procedure?
Simply all we have to do is experiment each and everything we learn . And most importantly we don't have to be masters in a certain thing to use it.

And to start building a responsive website which looks good all we need is,
- HTML
- CSS
And to spice things up a bit and to make things more interactive ,
3. JavaScript
And we are all good to go. But we don't have to be experts in any of these . We just have to know the basics and the advanced options along with extensions will come across in perfect timings when we experiment in our own.
My first Website

It was all from the scratch built just a month into computing . The main and only principle I used was “trial and error” . Made a thousand mistakes to make it and still it is under construction as an open source project . And another thousand or more so errors are ahead until it comes to a status where the website is fully functional.
Yet, It is functional and even as we speak myself and few colleagues are working actively and making their own mistakes and learning. And even the worlds most popular website like Google itself improve day by day. So why not us?
Why is it important to be practical?
The main point here is , we are learning to be useful for the community in real time tasks. And there is no other way to be good at it rather than doing the exact thing . That is doing “real time tasks” . It may sound complex and overwhelming , which I agree and even I felt the same.
But not even weeks or days , just few minutes into the projects I am working on , they became so familiar . The structure of a website , how the styling works , how to save the progress , how to use Git effectively and a lot more was learnt in such a small time period.
And most of all every little thing we work on practically are considered contributions . which is the ultimate proven resume that anyone can have. The worth of our profiles becomes drastically higher by just experimenting stuff.

And most importantly learning becomes easier by practical knowledge. Because our brain doesn't know while learning to prioritize which is more important than the other . But when practically using the content we learn , automatically we process the important things which need more attention and the other less important things which spending a lot of time focusing will be consider useless.
